My life is a series of drabbles...

I realized that my life is like a series of drabbles. They don't always stay cohesive. What I mean is that there are so many different things that happen in our live that change who we are and help to shape us into something different, though hopefully better. We never really go through the same thing day after day. But that's what makes life exciting for us and makes it worth living, at least in my opinion. Could you imagine if life were continuously the same? How boring could it get?!

Well let me give a for-instance: today for example, my daughter was a little pill! so I had to put her down for a nap. And after that nap she was the sweetest little angel you could ever come across. She smiled and giggled and came running at me full speed to give me kisses. What a change right? And yesterday she was the nicest little creature ever. She loves to play with me and each day we play something different. This little darling child of mine sure does have the imagination, even though she's only one. And right now, she's fallen asleep after insisting on watching me write my blogs and update my life. That just doesn't happen every day.

Another example that I have for you is that this morning, Jonathan got up rather early to have a phone interview for a job that he had applied for. That's not something that happens every day and it changed a lot for us. He has another interview tomorrow (wish him luck!). This one is in person. And if he gets this job it will change our whole system that we've created. So there's another drabble to catalog in my little book of thoughts for you.

And other than that things are slow and quiet. At least for me. I'm merely working on my writing and taking care of my two wonderful blessings. I cherish every moment that I have with them and I couldn't ask for two better children. They are so sweet and kind and loving and they try to take care of me as much as I try to take care of them. Hopefully what I write will one day become a published work. We shall see won't we. What a drabble that will be! ;)

Blah blah blog...

Hehe, so I couldn't really think of a great title for this entry! Hope you like my lack of creativity there!

Anywho, there's really not much to post lately. Life is kinda slow, but some really great information came up today that I thought I'd share with all of you random people who actually take the time to read this blog:

Number 1: Jonathan is going to apply for the police academy in January! Woohoo! We are so excited for him! Please keep him in your prayers and wish him the best of luck! This is so exciting for him and I hope that he gets into the police academy. That's one step closer to his career!

Number 2: I'm officially 22. Yep I said it. I turned 22 on the 13th of this month. Jonathan was such a sweetheart and bought me roses. It was a pretty good day.

Number 3: I'm still working on my novels, yep 2 Novels! Wish me luck! And short stories that I'm working on are all complicating my poor brain cells, but I love it! Imaginations rock my socks! Haha...Oh and if anyone is interested in reading some of my writings please either e-mail me or go to my other blog: From the Pen of the Novice Novelist! Yep thought I'd get that plug out there...haha...

I really need to post photos! I have them here somewhere, but I just can't find them at the moment! Sheesh, I promise that if I can't find any of my photos the next time I blog, I'll draw you a picture! Yay!

Well that's all I have for now! Please keep us in your prayers and always remember that I love ya! ;)

It's almost here!!!

Dun dun dun...it's almost here. Tomorrow is the day that I turn 22! AAAAAHHH!!! How scary right? I mean I still don't feel a day over 16, though my body certainly doesn't seem to agree with me. I still don't know why I'm up right now...it's almost one in the morning and I feel absolutely awful! My sister Elizabeth keeps getting all of us sick around here! Sheesh talk about such a meanie! But it really isn't her fault. I do care about her. And I suppose that taking care of two children with colds does take its toll on your body. I just hope that we all feel much better very soon. It's getting rather aggravating.

Life here has been quietly passing by, for which I am grateful. There are some things that are floating about, but I'm trying not to think about anything until plans become more definite. Don't worry my little readers, if there are any that is, I will keep you posted. And even if I don't have any readers I'll still post because it keeps me sane!

Oh on another note, I've discovered this lovely website that has been very beneficial to helping me keep my journal writing consistent. Well I had discovered this website a long time ago, but just recently have I been putting it to good use! It's called : myldsjournal.com and it's a wonderful place to keep an online journal. It's completely safe and you can even have your entries published into a book if you want! How exciting right? I highly recommend it. Especially if you are on the computer quite often like I am.

Oh and just a plea to all readers, if there are any. GO TO MY OTHER BLOG! Hehe..I have my writers blog and I want to share it with the world! And if you simply cannot get enough of me writing one blog, then travel on over and get your fill of the imagination of Kaleigh Spooner....

Okay that's it...that's all I'm gonna say!

You know what I've noticed?

Well do ya?! Do ya know what I've noticed lately? For one thing, I don't blog near as much as I should...and for another thing I don't take pictures! Silly me! So that's why this blog is so short and the reason I don't have any pictures up! I must admit I'm terrible at this! But it's fun none the less!

It seems almost too quiet around the house lately. I keep hearing all sorts of exciting news about everyone else and I think to myself "What is exciting around here?" Well there doesn't seem to be anything too exciting, which I'm actually grateful for. It has been a nonstop rollercoaster for the Spooner family the last little while and I'm actually thankful for the break!

Though I do admit one exciting thing is the opportunity I've been blessed with to spend time with my children. They are so much fun to be around and I feel so honored to be their mother!

Other than that I'll end this blog. Mainly this entry is to just admit to myself and others that I haven't updated in forever and to let anyone who reads this know that all is well and that we are happy and healthy here in Kanab Utah! Love ya tons! And hopefully I'll stop being lazy and take some pictures in the near future! Sheesh...
