Whew!

Well needless to say I haven't posted anything for quite some time! Things have just been so hectic and busy lately that I haven't had a moment to breathe, let alone post a blog! Hehe, but I hope to remedy that!
I can't believe that December has come and is almost gone. Thankfully both Jonathan and I made it through the last few weeks of our semester and made it through finals with our sanity, somewhat intact. But I am glad to be able to take a small break and get my energy back for the next little bundle of joy to arrive.
Christmas was wonderful. I was able to get Jonathan a new television and a few other items such as a totally awesome watch, if I do say so myself! Hehe...and Jonathan got me a miniature hymn book with my name embossed on the cover. I absolutely love it! It is the greatest gift ever! And it even matches my scriptures! :) And for course for Hannah we got her a bouncer, which she is still too short to use! haha...and we got her some dolls and building blocks and of course movies! Enchanted is her favorite of course! Sadly though we were not able to see my family this year again because of Joanthan's job. But, we will see them in a few weeks and hopefully get them their Christmas gifts before June!
Today is also a wonderful day because my dear friend Briana was married to Chris Chipman in the Mount Timpanogos Temple! Congrats to them! I am very excited for the new chapter they have started in their lives and I know that they will enjoy married life as much as I do! But also today is my grandpa Black's birthday! He's 80 years old today! Happy Birthday Grandpa!
Weelll that's all for today! Hopefully I post some more pictures soon enough and before you know it Nathan will be here and I'll have to post pictures of the two darling babies in my life!

I can't believe it!

I can't believe it's already November! And to top it off it's already almost the middle of November! Life sure goes by fast when you are having fun...and taking tests...haha...

The Spooner home is having a blast...sure we have our tiffs now and then, but we are one happy family. Recently Jonathan got a call for an interview for a higher paying position at his work! Let's pray that things work out for the best! And as for me, I've been focusing on school and taking care of our dear sweet Hannah-bear. She's growing so fast and getting more and more active. She's attempting to walk, which isn't very successful, but stressful all the same! I can't believe how fast she is growing. It's exciting and a little sad to see my sweet little baby grow up so fast! Sometimes I just want to cry! But I wouldn't change all of the wonderful experiences that I get to experience with her for anything. She's growing and learning and loving...what more could I ask for?
But as promised I posted some of our lovely family pictures! Paul and Shannie Spallino were awesome and I absolutley adore the pictures they took! Hannah is so beautiful and sweet and I love how wonderful our family looks in the pictures! Soon enough I'll get pictures of the ultrasound up and posted!

Life Lately!

Well life lately sure has been exciting! Jonathan, Hannah, and I were able to go to the doctor on Tuesday to find out what we are having and the results are in! In March we will be welcoming a baby boy! We are both very excited. It's just really weird to think that I'll have two amazingly beautiful children! The name we like for our little guy is Nathan Lawrence...but you never know things may change!
Poor Jonathan has had a pretty hectic week this time around. He's been studying so hard for midterms. I hope he gets everything done and feels good about his efforts. He's worked so hard! He's amazing in all that he does and I know that things will work out well.
We are also excited for today because we are getting family pictures taken! Well at least I'm excited :). Shannie Rogers Spallino gave me the wonderful suggestion of having her husband, Paul, take the pictures. I was able to look at some of his work and I am very impressed and completely excited to work with them! The pictures are guaranteed to be amazing! I can't wait! Thanks Shannie for the suggestion!
I'll post some pictures of Nathan soon I promise as well as our awesome family pictures!

Hectic Life!

The last little while for the Spooner family has been quite hectic! Jonathan and I have been working like crazy to get through various tests and assignments. Jonathan has been taking various quizzes and tests and trying. As for me, I've been swampes with a 2300 word essay, another 3 page essay, 2 religion tests, and math tests and assignments to boot! And then there is the craziness of drivers around campus who try to run you over! And then honk at you because they think it is your fault! Sheesh!!! Talk about torture and aggravating...hehe, but I'm getting through it...slowly...And after tomorrow I'll have a small respite from the chaos that is school...

But life at home couldn't be any better. I celebrated my 21st birthday on the 13th with my wonderful family and very sweet friends. And I get to spend time each day playing with the most wonderful child that anyone could ever ask for. Hannah truly is a wonder and a miracle to me. She is so sweet and smart and beautiful in every way and I am proud to be her mother. I feel so honored and lucky...Currently she is learning to crawl on hands and knees and is attempting to stand up and walk! Oh how funny it is, but how exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time! But I love each moment that I spend with her. I wouldn't change it for anything.

The thought that I've had running in my head for a few weeks now is the thought of love and family. How precious these things are and how grateful I am to have found such a wonderful man who cares so deeply for me. I pray that every day I will cherish him and all that he does for me and I pray that I can be his eternal companion and that our family can be together forever. I pray that I am worthy for the love that he has so willingly given to me. I thank the Lord every day for all that he does for me.

A New Day!

So, I decided since I've seen so many different blogs lately that I'd start one of my own! Life is moving so fast that if I don't keep up on what is happening it will pass right by me!

This past week has been a hectic one for the Spooner family. Jonathan had to take a test on Saturday in between General Conference sessions, while I've been trying to read a book, write an essay, do my math homework, and study for a test that I need to take by tonight! All the while trying to keep track of a very curious Hannah-bear who has mastered the army crawl and is now proceeding to climb on the couch! Hehe, but it's fun and I enjoy every moment with my husband and daughter.

And though I can calmly talk about the hecticness of being a mom in college, I do get very stressed and worried at times. This morning was no exception and I found as I was heading to class that my mind was fretting over all the things that I need to do. But the Lord has a way of calming fears and easing worries. As I was sitting in my Old Testament Class, Professor Woods started talking about how Satan will work on our hearts and minds to cast doubts and fears upon us. And how one moment we can upbeat and so pumped about life, and the next feel as though we are floundering (Such as with tests!). He then read Doctrine and Covenants 6:14 and 22-23 which talks about how the Lord knows our hearts and he will bless us if we seek him. Needless to say, my heart was touched and I felt the Lord's love and nothing will take that away, no matter, what this day, or the rest of the week will bring! I wish we could always remember just how mucht he Lord loves his children and how far he will reach to bring us into his loving embrace.
