New Week, New Car, and Getting Lost Along the Way!

Well things have been going rather well lately. Our little family was able to go and get our pictures taken by Paul Spallino. He took them back in October, but we decided to get more done because Liam arrived! We haven't seen them yet, but are very excited about them! Paul did a great job last time and I can't wait to see what he captured of my two beautiful children! Thanks again Paul and Shannie for taking the pictures! You two are wonderful people and we had a blast getting pictures taken!

In other news I may have found a place for us to live come August! There was a listing for a duplex type of situation in Kanab with 1200 square feet of apartment for $550! I was very excited about that and immediately called to inquire. So next week we get to go look at the apartment! Yay! Wish us luck!

And!!!!! We finally got a new car! We are so excited about it! It's really nice and fits out family perfectly. It drives like a dream and has wonderful air conditioning! Hehe...that's my favorite by the way! I'm really grateful that we were able to get the vehicle and that it fits our family so nicely. Let's face it, our car was getting rather cramped. And it was finally giving up the ghost. Don't get me wrong that car was wonderful, it's just that it was older and, well, small. And now I feel so....so powerful! Hehe...little me in an suv, can you imagine it? Haha...Jonathan loves the new vehicle and is very eager to drive it. I've never seen him so excited about running errands before!

Today was also interesting because I had to drive to Salt Lake City by myself! Well, it was actually West Valley City and Marie Neeley was with me, but that's not the point. My sister Annaliese needed me to go and pick up a few things for her and Jonathan couldn't go because he had to work, so that left me to...gulp...dive! Ugh...not only had I never driven to Salt Lake City by myself, but I had never really drive our new vehicle that far before! So I was completely nervous and absolutely sure that I would manage to get myself lost before too long! After all I am notorious for having no sense of direction! Well initially I was fine on the drive up and we were able to make it to our destination with relatively good time. But on the way back sure enough I got us lost! But it truly wasn't my fault! We had to take a detour and didn't know where we were going. We passed Taylorsville and I knew we weren't on the same road that we had come, but I decided to keep going in the direction we were. After all we were going south and that was the general direction. How bad could it be right? Well luckily for me, I spotted the Draper Temple and then the sign for IKEA and I knew where we were! We had travelled along Bangeter highway and were actually going in the right direction! Yay! Hehe...but I still got us lost! And tacked on about another half hour to our trip! But it was fun, scary and generally just an interesting experience. I do however feel bad for Marie. She was stuck in a car with me and my screaming Liam. He hates his carseat and just wanted to be held. By the way Marie, he went right to sleep when I got him home. He wasn't even hungry! Sorry again! I know he must have caused a migraine!

So this week has been rather interesting and fun. Lots of changes and new experiences. Tomorrow I have a test for Physcial Science so wish me luck! I'm praying that I do well.

Mother's Day!

First and foremost here are some pictures of Liam! They aren't the best quality but here they are! I can't believe he's already two months old! Time really flies by so fast! And it's a bit sad that he won't stay little forever...but that's okay. The older he gets the more experiences I get to share with him. He is such a cutie! I can't believe how much he's grown in such a short time!

He has such a huge smile but I can't seem to capture it on camera yet! Maybe when we get family pictures done you'll see those huge dimples!

Well the updates aren't coming as steadily as I would like, but in my defense I've been terribly busy! Two children can be a handful to manage and attending school this semester has taken it's toll on me! But I love it so much and I wouldn't change it for the world! Yes, even the sleepless nights and the many messes that Hannah is managing to make these days would never change my mind about spending my days with my two wonderful children.
So today is mother's day! How exciting! I just want to say to everyone how much I appreciate mothers and all that they do. I guess I never truly understood what a mother meant to me, until I became one. I am so grateful that I have such an amazing mother who has always been there for me and who has been the best example to me of a truly great mother. I am so fortunate and lucky to have the the mother that I do.

So for mother's day, we were able to have flowers delivered to my mother in Kanab, and his in North Carolina. It was great to hear that they liked the flowers. I was actually worried that my mother would be allergic to the ones that we picked out! But luckily she wasn't. Jonathan didn't really get an opportunity to do anything for me today, but that's okay. Sadly he woke up feeling ill and still had to go to work. He felt horrible about it, but I kindly reminded him that it wasn't his fault that he had gotten sick! The silly husband! Haha...but yesterday he did take me to lunch at Tucanos. It was really something! And I had a blast. And tomorrow he wants to go to Salt Lake to see the Joseph Smith movie, which should be fun...I'll have to bring my camera to take some pictures of my kiddos! And Jonathan and I will have to take some time to go back to the Salt Lake Temple before we move...I guess we'll have to find a babysitter!

Other than going to school and playing with my children, we are trying to find a place to live come August. It's been kind of hectic but I keep praying that we will find the right place for us. And I know that things will work out for the best and that we will find what we are looking for. But keep us in your prayers!
